Renowned for his staggering creativity and mastery, Michelangelo is often cited as the greatest artist of all time by many and was referred to as “the divine one” even during his own lifetime. He has created timeless, unparalleled masterpieces across mediums — sculptures like Pietà and David, frescoes on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel like the Creation of Adam & The Last Judgement and also the dome of St. Peter’s Basilica which he architected later on in his life.
