Ernesto “Che” Guevara (1928-1967) was an Argentine revolutionary, guerilla leader, diplomat, military strategist and physician who was a key figure during the Cuban Socialist Revolution and as a political leader following that, implementing wide-scale agrarian reforms and literacy campaigns in the country. Executed without trial by CIA-assisted Bolivian Forces, he has become a global symbol of the iconoclastic underdog fighting against the establishment and his photograph, titled Guerrillero Heroico, is one of the most popular images in the world, widely adopted by many counterculture, political & social movements to represent their cause.
