Paying homage to the indigenous Māori people of New Zealand, “Kirituhi Tahi” is inspired by their striking tattoo art, an essential cornerstone of their rich & vibrant culture. While “Ta Moko” tattoos are culturally sacred and strictly reserved only for those of Māori blood and descent, “Kirituhi” tattoos are specifically meant for anyone of non-Māori heritage, created as a respectful way to immerse oneself into their powerful history & traditions. The intricate interplay between jagged points and graceful curves, all flowing downwards from the left chest make this a unique tribute to the soulful resilience of ancient traditions that continue to thrive in a new, modern world.
